China is killlling innocent people!

So my research paper topic will most definitely be related to diabetes and the nursing situation in Silicon Valley. However, I wanted to try out a different branch from the topic; the medicine. Insulin had to be approved and re approved to make sure it does its job with proper effectiveness and no abnormal side effects, for insulin can be lethal. How can we as a society much less I as a sister of a diabetic can believe that the only thing that can keep my sister alive, killed her? This should have been checked and approve by the FDA and there should no longer be any slip ups. “China has been hit by a string of cases highlighting its poor record in food and drug safety. Last year, at least six babies died and nearly 300,000 were sickened by infant formula contaminated with an industrial chemical that can cause kidney failure.” Accidents like these need the proper precaution to make sure the product is safe. I understand that when there is manufacturing there is mistakes. One pant leg is a little longer than the other. But now a days we have the right technology to avoid that! Especially with something as severe as insulin and other life threatiening and health related products.
